Kayleigh's Support, Care and Education Fund

Kayleigh's father, Kyle, passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2020. Family and friends are helping to raise funds to provide for Kayleigh's future support, care and education.
The organizer of this campaign is Kayleigh's grandfather, Robert Bradford Bentley (Brad). In order to ensure that the funds raised will be used for the purpose stated above, Brad will be managing the funds on Kayleigh's behalf. Initially, funds will be withdrawn from the GoFundMe account by Brad and placed into a savings account for minors that has already been set up for Kayleigh. Kayleigh is the beneficiary of this account with Brad being the custodian of the account. Brad may also establish other accounts for Kayleigh for specific purposes and/or to optimize income tax treatment of withdrawals and future investment earnings. Possibilities include a 529 plan for college education or a UTMA account.
Our objective is to organize accounts in such a manner to:
1) Accommodate reasonable requests from Kayleigh's mother to pay for support, care and education while Kayleigh is a minor
2) Earmark and set aside funds for Kayleigh to use to pay for her college education
3) Allow Kayleigh full access to her remaining funds when she reaches adulthood
