Reusable Face Mask

Donation protected

As you know, we are currently experiencing a global pandemic due to COVID-19, which is also causing a critical shortage of N95 masks.  The CDC is recommending health care professionals use alternatives such as bandanas, and to reuse standard hospital N95 masks.

The standard N95 is not meant to be reused due to the material of them, this is putting health care professionals, first responders, and even patients in an unsafe environment.  This is why Print Pro fire up its eight in house 3D printers and started printing plastic reusable masks.  These masks are made to use multiple times, by sanitizing and cleaning them inside and out,  while only needing to replace the filter.  (the price per filter is much cheaper than the price per mask and easier to get a hold of) Thousands of these masks have been donated by 3D hobbyist that have been able to help our Doctors and Nurses feel safe showing up to work.
The problem with these masks is they take roughly 4 hours to print a single one and we have hundreds of thousands of healthcare workers that need this equipment.  Our only option is to turn to mass production and injection mold these plastic reusable face masks. We have partnered with a local injection molding company, who has agreed to help take on this project.  They have offered us priority manufacturing which would expedite our production.  They understand the need to get these protective face masks to our healthcare workers and are going to work with us to get it done as fast as possible.   We have been working with a supplier of N95 filters who have become so overwhelmed by orders they are now only dealing directly with hospitals and front line workers.  We will be able to donate the masks and keep filters coming in as needed. These filters only cost 51 cents compared to the nearly 4 dollars that the standard disposable masks are currently going for.  Our supplier has assured us they have a steady line of raw materials needed in order to keep production of these filters they just need our help in order to produce the plastic masks.

Goal Our goal is to raise $50,000 dollars to build the infrastructure needed to run the production of these masks.  With the $50,000 we will be able to supply upwards of 10,000 masks with a 2 week supply of filters.  Every dollar donated after the $50,000 will go even further.  With the infrastructure already in place. Every dollar counts and every dollar goes towards protecting healthcare professionals who are protecting us. We are currently selling our 3D printed masks in order to buy more materials and produce higher quantities.  With your funding, we will be able to donate thousands of masks to healthcare facilities and first responders across America.  If you are a front line worker: -Doctors - Nurses  - Firefighters  - Law Enforcement  - Nursing homes And your facility is in desperate need of these masks please reach out so we can coordinate the best way to get these in your hands when they become available.

In the meantime we will continue to supply our 3D printed masks to as many healthcare workers as we can, If you have a 3D printer and would like to help, click the link below to download the files.

If we don't reach our goal, all the money will go towards hand-making the 3D printed masks to be donated to health care individuals.
