P'etcetera a unique retail shop for pets

Like so many, I have been downsized after serving the Government for more than ten years, so have decided to create a job for myself that will  help the local economy and show the government that Americans still dream and work toward those dreams. 

P'etcetera will be a small shop in a Mall in Salem, OR that offers only locally hand made items for pets and their people.  I want to give local artisans a place to showcase their work, provide jobs for those who can't find one and support the local pet network by encouraging rescue and education.

This shop will be a happy place where people can not only buy gifts but can just hang out and enjoy funny animal videos, share stories and pictures and forget the cares of the world for awhile. 

I have spent $5000 of my own money so far but need to purchase much more merchandise from the artists.  Nothing will come from China or anywhere else.  Items will be unique, clever, funny, colorful and made only in Oregon by our good citizens who love animals and are trying to make ends meet.

Free literature on pet adoption, emergency preparedness, cruelty to animals, rescue organizations, and all of the other pet services available in Salem will be provided.
