Odyssey of the Mind World Finals

The Williams Elementary Odyssey of the Mind team, comprised of five third graders and two fifth graders, recently won first place at STATES with their mockumentary of The Hobbit. Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that involves students around the world ages K-college. The Williams team's victory is the result of many months of diligent script writing, costume designing, and prop building, all completed by the students with no outside assistance--and has earned them a spot at the World Finals held at Iowa State University in May! RSU 18 has never had the chance to attend an OM World Finals event, and some of our teammates have never boarded a plane. We are raising funds for the next four weeks to pay for travel, room and board for the team and our coach. Thank you for any and all help you are willing to provide--every little bit counts!
