In Loving Memory of Troy Carter (TC)
On October 3rd, 2021, my brother, Troy Carter had a devastating fatal car accident in New Rochelle which claimed his life, one of his twin son’s life (Carmelo) and severely injured his other twin son and his daughter.
His surviving twin son, 7 year old Romello, has bodily injuries that left him in critical condition, currently fighting for his life. Eleven year old Tiara is currently in stable condition, however has severe internal and spinal injuries.
Troy Carter, was born on November 23, 1984 to his parents Monica and Mark Carter.
Troy was a loving soul that everyone called TC. An amazing father who would take the children on a family adventure at least once a month. Doing all he could to provide for his family, Troy was just hired to the United States Postal Service with ambitions of one day becoming a chef.
As a Cowboys fan, he NEVER missed an NFL game as he loved to hang out with family and friends watching the big screen. He was loved by many with such a generous and kind heart. Funny, courageous and goal driven, Troy was everyone’s favorite guy.
Known as the “fly guy” for his scrupulous style, he always bought laughter to the room. He never judged anyone so you could come to him with your problems to get his honest, non-biased opinion and advice.
Carmello was a strong boy who underwent surgeries in the past. Playing towards his strengths, he loved to play sports and swim. He was on the school softball and soccer team. He loved riding his cousins electric scooter, he never gave up trying and had finally mastered it! He loved playing basketball, roblox, fort nite and Minecraft. His loving soul will truly be missed.
Tiara is the sweetest kid you’d ever meet. A true daddy’s girl. We are praying for her speedy recovery.
Troy and Carmello will truly be missed. And the children that were left behind are heartbroken and devistated. We don’t know how to move forward with this tragic situation. They leave behind a multitude of family members including the twins’ mother, Candace Edwards, twin brother Romello, sister Tiara Carter and her mother Tiffany Nix.
