In Memory of my Dad

I'm raising money in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, in honour and in memory of my dad, who died in August 2022.

Dad was an avid runner and had taken part in the Great South Run 4 times, the last being in 2019 - where we all cheered him on from the sidelines.

Dad signed up again this year and was looking forward to it, even if he had to walk it instead of running. However, as time went on, it became clear that he wouldn't be able to take part himself, and so he transferred his place to me.

Anyone who knows me knows I am not a runner (or even mildly athletic ha), so this is a huge challenge for me! I am so thankful that dad was here when I started my training, I could see how much it meant to him, and that has spurred me on to complete this in honour of him.
