The Developing Dreams Foundation (DDF) is raising funds to support its F.A.M.E. afterschool and summer programs in connection with the foundation’s annual Choreographer’s Ball Extravaganza.
The DDF F.A.M.E. after-school programs help children from under-served communities in Dade and Broward counties learn discipline, unity, teamwork, and self-respect through dance, music, arts technology and media. They learn critical life skills and are exposed to career options in the arts.
The vast majority of children in the programs attend free of charge. Your charitable tax-deductible donation will help a child #DreamBelieveAchieve!
How does your charitable tax-dedutible donation help? We're glad you asked. Here are a few examples:
- $120 can help youth participate in a basic life skills training program
- $250 buys a 5G mobile hotspot and provides internet access to kids who have limited access
- $100 buys a tablet or Chromebook for elementary school students in the arts technology program
- $1,000 buys a music production workstation to help students learn how to produce cool tunes
For over two decades, the #DDFChoreographersBall has been a culminating event for choreographers and aspiring dancers to display their skills and support a great cause, the #FAMEAfterSchool programs. Proceeds will support and help expand the F.A.M.E. afterschool and summer programs. The Choreographer's Ball will be held October 22, 2023 at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center in Lauderhill, Florida.
