Beautification on a Kitty Hawk Waterway

As a local artist and steward of the marsh, I’m excited to announce the start of a collaborative beautification project in our very own Kitty Hawk Woods. Outer Banks Kayak Adventures as well as several other agencies guide thousands of outdoor-enthusiasts under this bridge each summer. Unfortunately, the bridge has been vandalized with poor and offensive graffiti since it’s recent construction. In an effort to create a beautiful piece of artwork over a local waterway, our crew has imagined and planned two murals that will decorate the underside of this bridge. We’re in the business of beauty, preservation, and genuine love for the place we call home. We’re planning to begin in mid August, and you can expect to see tons of updates and progress posts as we install not one but two, original murals. All donations will go towards materials and equipment that will help us complete this project!
