New Security System

Hi, my name is Jessica, and I am the founder of Harlem Chocolate Factory. We opened Harlem's first and only chocolate shop in 2018. I started Harlem Chocolate Factory to share the history and culture of Harlem with chocolate. I am a lifelong Harlem resident and chocolate lover. I grew up making chocolates at home with a dream to one day start my own company. I was woefully underprepared for just how difficult this battle would be. From fighting for funding to fighting to stay open to surviving the pandemic, I wake up every day with the goal of making Harlem Chocolate Factory a legacy I can be proud of.

We are here because we were victims of a smash-and-grab. We must upgrade our security system. Every single dollar of our current budget has been allocated to our damages and keeping us moving forward. The man that broke in is a serial burglar that continues to hit the black-owned businesses in Harlem and is continuously released. We need a more robust security system and need your help to do so. We appreciate anything contributions, shared or support you can do or just come by our shop and say hi! We are open Friday & Saturday 1-8 pm Sunday 12 - 4 pm.
