Bomb Squad: Home Run Derby '23, Lewy Body Dementia

Tax deductible
The Bomb Squad is back! Every year, our local softball league (SOMA Sport & Social) puts on a Home Run Derby to raise money for a charity. This year, the Bomb Squad - comprised this year of myself, Taylor Umlauf, Billy Blair, Kevin Worley, Anthony Dasti, Jeff Shubart, Jeff Blair and Mark Hall - has chosen to raise money for the Lewy Body Dementia Association (www.lbda.org).

Lewy Body Dementia is the second most common form of dementia after Alzheimer's, and an estimated 1.4 million Americans, including my father, are currently living with this disease. Those who suffer from it have recurrent visual hallucinations (often daily), vastly decreased mental function and escalating memory problems.

Every dollar you give supporting us hitting bombs will benefit the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the Lewy body dementias (LBD), supporting people with LBD, their families and caregivers and promoting scientific advances.

Feel free to share our fundraiser with friends & family - and thank you,
Cindy & the Bomb Squad
