***update: thank you everyone for your help and the communities support, while we are thankful for where we are, we have a lot more to go! Insurance will help however, there is a large deductible so we raised the goal to assist the lodge with that amount to ensure a majority of the funds will go into actually assisting with renovations *** 

Hi everyone, my name is Lucianna and I am fundraising for the recent fire at the Fayette Lodge on Orchard Street in Ellington. I am a lifelong resident of Ellington, and while my husband and were leaving our home today on Orchard Street, we noticed the Fayette Lodge building on fire and immediately called 911. Most recently, the members of this building have been putting so much into renovations and upkeep for the building, and have recently replaced a majority of the first floor. While waiting to give our statement, I had the pleasure of meeting the Master of this location, Rod Neff. Rod was thankful for our quick intervention, however, that didn't stop the fire from damaging a majority of the first floor and sending smoke damage throughout the entire property. In communication with Rod Neff, he was more than happy to hear about us wanting to support them in the rebuilding of the damaged areas. I know in times of need, this community will come together and support one another. This lodge is a visual staple to the Ellington Community, after previously being one of the Swiss Churches. Hoping we can come together to help support the Lodge and to maintain this landmark in Ellington. Thank you!
