preservation of Kathleen Hathaways Shelties

Donation protected
On Saturday, the third of April, the Sheltie world lost a very dedicated, experienced and talented breeder. Kathleen Hathaway lost a three year battle with cancer. We lost a best friend. Kathleen had a wealth of Sheltie knowledge. She bred Shelties that were more than bred to the standard, they were above and beyond. If there was a question about breeding she knew the answer. She had so many plans and goals that she was not able to finish. This is not the end of Illusion Shetland Sheepdogs. Kathleen's daughters are going to preserve the heritage of Illusion Shetland Sheepdogs.
There will be Illusion Shetland Sheepdogs in West Virginia with daughter Alicia Chandler and in Fryeburg Maine with daughter, Caitlin Foster.
The girls are excited to carry on for their Mother. They will be setting up new kennels, bring the Shelties to their homes and continue with Kathleens dreams.
Kathleen would be so proud of them. They are excited to learn all they can about breeding and showing in the Sheltie world. It has been decided that the girls will need help becoming established, building kennels, transporting dogs, and many other essentials for continuing the Illusion Shelties.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to help  keep the heritage of the Illusion Shelties preserved.

Thank you so much!
